A dispute regarding the extra attic space arose in a housing in Helsingborg. The basis of the dispute was that a number of members of the association had renovated the association’s attic and made it their own accommodation. This was opposed by several other members. The Supreme Court announced last week that they go on the same line as the district court and court of appeal , that is, not to grant leave to appeal . The Members concerned may maintain their extra attic space . 

Lawyer Björn Sahlin from the law firm Wåhlin that was representative of the interested members felt that it was all expected. 

– This was good news for us , but this decision was expected. It was our opinion and what we had hoped for, says Björn Sahlin.
